Installations & Export

Installations

The installations will be performed by a team , that will be composed individually according to the demands, managed by us.

Installation teams
An installation team consists of four groups:

Installation teams
Project management with the tasks coordination and project supervision; possibly with the additional help from a CAD-tracer and a programmer
Team management : Expert from our own ranks guide the specialists of the single installation faculties
Teams of specialists Consists in the first instance of specialists for welding technology and electrical engineering
Teams of assistants Consist of unskilled assistants, that are to support the specialists
The exact size and composition of a team depends on the complexity and the conditions of a project and are very variable. Not at least we consider your wishes.

We offer four different alternatives of installation :

Installation services
All-In-Installation With an All-In-Installation ES PROJECTS provides the complete team – from project manager to team of assistants
Turnkey Installations Turnkey-Installation means that ES PROJECTS provides a complete team from project manager to team of specialists. The teamm of assistants will be provided by the customer
Chief Installations ES PROJECTS provides the project management and the team managers ; possibly further singel specialists. The teams of specialists and assistants will be provided by the customer
Supervisor-Installations The customer provides the complete installation team. ES PROJECTS provides the project management for the coordination of the single tasks and for the technological supervision

Export

The export respectively the transport of plants or parts  is not always unproblematical. Often our customers command the necessary experience to arrange the import independently. The possibilities of transportation from a European seaport are investigated single-handed in many cases. Otherwise we have experts.

Following, an overview of the surrounding conditions and experiences regarding to the possibilities of transportation by land and by sea:

Container
Container make a complete chain of transportation  between water and land possible. Additionally they present a shorter replacement period, better use of space at storage and handling, as well a mechanical protection against damages on the ship.
Because of the worldwide standardization ISO-container simplify the loading, transport, storage and unloading.
The most prevalent containers have a width of 8 foot (2.44 m) and a length of 20 foot (6.09 m) respectively 40 foot (12.19 m). Also 45-foot-container, which can also be carried regularly on a truck-chassis. The standard height is indicated with 8 foot and 6 inches (2.59 m), the high-cube-height with 9 foot an 6 inches (2.90 m). Apart from this there are several special sizes.

Transport by ship
Normally for the transport of brewery-plants by sea you need a cargo ship that transports general cargo as well as containers. In fact a crane aboard the ship may be  necessary. Further the importance in planning the transport is the port of destinantion (distance to destination), the capacity and the amount of costs.

The freight capacity of a cargo ship can be indicated in different ways: by the suppressed water amount in tons, the loadable cubic meters or – with pure container ships – by the TEU-figure (TEU = Twenty Foot Equivalent Units). This indicates the maximum of the loadable 20-foot-standard-containers (also specified in generations: 1 generation corresponds 1,000 TEU). The biggest container ships are currently dimensioned for 11,000 TEU, the payload per TEU is about 22 tons at a volume of 33 m3  therefore. .
Container with a length of 40 foot have an interior volume of about 66 m3; according to experience they can be loaded with an average of 54 m3.

Shioment of a production line
The costs of transportation are depending directly on the volume of the plant and depends indirectly on the production capacity. A rough calculation helps to get a first conception.
Up to now we have calculated or practized breweries with a volume of 1,000 to 15,000 cubic meters.
Generally the purchase of second-hand containers for the transport is advisable. Depending on the size, quantity and quality,  1,000 to 3,000 € for each container (20- respectively 40-foot-container) have to be calculate. The costs of sea transportation are about 100 € of each cubic meter respectively at high specific weight each ton.

From a certain volume of freight a consideration to charter a complete ship is necessary. For instance the price of each cubic-meter can be beaten down on to 40 to 60 € by chartering a ship with a length of 100m, which is able to load about 10,000 cubic meters.

It is to be noticed, that the mentioned numbers are only rough statements, which depends on many variables.
